Yes, the app for Android has been modified for the Android Runtime in Blackberry 10. You can find it in Blackberry App World. I will provide a direct link to the app later.

Stealth mode is currently not supported in BB10 OS. The Android runtime for BB10 does not support service app without a screen. Hope Blackberry will extend such support in the future.

BlackBerry 10 OS doesn't currently support headless apps (what Android refers to as stealth mode). It is said that OS 10.1 should support them. We will see.

OS 10.2 actually. 10.1 is already out (for most carriers in the world, just not in the US) and headless apps are not yet supported. But they will be in 10.2 which should be out (for the rest of the world) in the next couple of months.

Just downloaded the new 10.1 and now the BB Z10 is working. Before 10.1 it would only work with wifi.. Now it works with 4g Verizon.. It was a know issue.. New update corrected that so far..

Need assistance please. I am trying to track someone whereabouts. Can this work without having to start the app. I realise when I press stop I am unable to track the device. I am using multiple device. Thanks

I''m having a problem with my Z10. It has the latest firmware and it tracks fine as long on the display is up and visible but when the display goes off and I guess it goes to sleep, it quits tracking. It is plugged in in my truck and when I reach over and turn the display back on it will start sending data again but let it go to sleep and everything seems to stop.

Right now, there is no solution for this version of Z10 (Verizon Branded). This version of Z10 does not allow background app while other carrier branded Z10 does not have such problem.
