How come the download for windows desktop disappeared. The only options are to download from windows store. I like the interface of the desktop app and if you caqn get it back that would be nice.

As I understood the App store (Windows METRO) application runs under your user account. So without the account login the Followmee tool will not function.
The Followmee desktop application will run regardless of the user being logged on.
So the desktop application functionallity is what users expect from the App Store application. I hope the support will continue.

The desktop app runs as a Windows service and it can track before the user login to this Windows PC. This app is still available for download and we don''t have plan to retire it yet.

Just checking in here on this post. We downloaded the store app and are switching over to the windows service version to get tracking regardless of whether our users are logged in or not. Thank you for continuing to offer this download.
